The online resource Wikipedia is increasingly used by students for knowledge acquisition and learning. However, the lack of a formal editorial review and the heterogeneous expertise of contributors often results in skepticism by educators whether Wikipedia should be recommended to students as an information source. In this study we systematically analyzed the accuracy and completeness of drug information in the German and English language versions of Wikipedia in comparison to standard textbooks of pharmacology. Tässä artikkelissa tarkastelemme sitä, millaisena ja miten tekoäly esitetään suomalaisessa julkisessa keskustelussa, ja ketkä tekoälystä suurelle yleisölle kertovat. Aineistona olemme käyttäneet Yleisradion verkkosivujen tekoälyä käsitteleviä artikkeleja. Tulosten perusteella tekoälystä pääsevät kertomaan useimmin talouden ja teollisuuden aloilla työskentelevät miehet. Cross-section-constrained top-quark mass measurement from dilepton events at the tevatron

We report the first top quark mass measurement that uses a cross section constraint to improve the mass determination. This measurement is made with a dilepton $t\bar{t}$ event sample collected with the CDF II detector. From a data sample corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 1.2 fb$^{-1}$, we measure a top quark mass of $\rm{170.7^{+4.2}_{-3.9}(stat)\pm2.6(syst)}$ $\rm{\pm2.4(theory) GeV/{\it{c}}^{2}}$. The measurement without the cross section constraint results in a top quark mass of $\rm{169.7^{+5.2}_{-4.9}(stat)\pm3.1(syst) GeV/{\it{c}}^{2}}$.
Diffusion of oxygen in cork.

International audience; This work reports measurements of effective oxygen diffusion coefficient in raw cork. Kinetics of oxygen transfer through cork is studied at 298 K thanks to a homemade manometric device composed of two gas compartments separated by a cork wafer sample. The first compartment contains oxygen, whereas the second one is kept under dynamic vacuum. The pressure decrease in the first compartment is recorded as a function of time. The effective diffusion coefficient D-eff is obtained by applying Fick's law to transient state using a numerical method based on finite differences. First mass measurement at JYFLTRAP

The first mass measurements at JYFLTRAP facility are reviewed. Those are also first ever direct mass measurements of the heaviest Zr-isotopes. Results are compared to atomic mass evaluation data and the recent calculations. The first TOF-resonances from high-precision trap and an implication to high-precision mass measurements are discussed.

Recently T2K experiment gives hint in favor of large reactor angle ${\ensuremath{\theta}}_{13}$. Most of the models, with tribimaximal mixing at the leading order, can not reproduce such a large mixing angle since they predict typically corrections for the reactor angle of the order ${\ensuremath{\theta}}_{13}\ensuremath{\sim}{\ensuremath{\lambda}}_{C}^{2}$, where ${\ensuremath{\lambda}}_{C}\ensuremath{\sim}0.2$. Abstract Two distinct dynamical processes near the dynamical tropopause (2-PVU surface) and their relation are discussed in this study: stratosphere–troposphere exchange (STE) and the formation of distinct potential vorticity (PV) structures in the form of stratospheric and tropospheric streamers and cutoffs on isentropic surfaces. Two previously compiled climatologies based upon the 15-yr European Centre for Medium-Range Weather Forecasts Re-Analysis (ERA-15) dataset (from 1979 to 1993) are used to establish and quantify the link between STE and these PV structures. Eclecticism is a complex creative trend born as a consequence of both postmodernism and the heterodox treatment of cultural identity borders. This aesthetic path emerges as a compositional model of great communicative power in contemporary creation in the last two decades. Our essay addresses the Symphony V "American" (2003) by Leonardo Balada (1933) as a compositional paradigm. Through this article we demonstrate the importance of including popular sounds and re-signifying materials in the creative conception. A valid model of communication ahead of the challenges of globalization and mass media processes is therefore established hereby.
